This position reports to:
Group Manager O&G, CH&R__
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic direction, leadership, management, and coordination of the Quality Management & Engineering functions within a local ABB EUOPC Operations in Functional Safety related sectors.
Each day, you will initiate, coordinate, drive, and oversee team development and continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the quality of the engineering and design capabilities.
You will also showcase your expertise by driving the team’s performance to ensure assigned engineering operations are executed with appropriate level of expected quality.
Main responsibilities
Quality Assurance in Functional Safety Management (FSM) areas / extension to Quality Management Systems (QMS)
(detailed knowledge of ABB Functional Safety Management Systems based on IEC 61508 / IEC 61511)Direct Cooperation & Coordination with EUOPC SEC Team Leader and other EUOPC Team Leaders leading the FS Engineers
Support of Operations & Business Engagement Managers in Functional Safety matters & pre-sales support of LBLs in Functional Safety matters
Direct Reporting to ABB EUOPC Oil & Gas, Chemical & Refining Group Leader
Qualification
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related fields.
Good understanding of pre-sales, sales, engineering & project management and quality control processes.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with business analysis and process development in Functional Safety related industries (mainly the Energy Industries, such as oil & gas, chemicals & refining, power generation but not limited to).
Strong understanding of quality management principles and practices, including IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 or ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance.
Excellent communication, organizational and training skills, with the ability to manage multiple priori-ties.
English and Czech Language (as needed for handling of internal directives and ISO9001 documentation in Czech)
