Job <\/span>Description<\/span> <\/span>Security/Custodian<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/b> PURPOSE<\/span> <\/span>OF <\/span>THE <\/span>POSITION: <\/span><\/span><\/b>Work as a member of the Program Design and Management\nTeam to promote a healthy, safe and clean environment for Head\nStart children and staff.<\/span> <\/span> Leave is\ncharacterized as Annual Leave and Sick Leave. As a Full\-time employee, you will\naccrue Annual Leave each pay period for a total of 10 days per year, for each\nof the first five years of employment. You will also accrue five (5) hours of\nsick leave each pay period. In addition to Annual Leave and Sick Leave HRCAP\ngrants employees one day of paid time each year for their birthday.<\/span> <\/span> Hampton Roads Community Action\nProgram provides eleven (11) paid holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King\nJr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus\nDay, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving Day, and\nChristmas Day.<\/span> <\/span><\/span> Medical, dental and vision insurance\ncoverage options are available for employees and dependents. Employer pays\nseventy\-five (75%) of the premium costs for health insurance. Coverage becomes\neffective on the first day of the month following the date of hire. The cost of\ncoverage depends on the plan options and/or dependent coverage elected. All\nhealth insurance premiums are deducted from payroll on a pre\-tax basis through\na Section 125 Plan. <\/span>Our retirement plan\nconsists of a dollar\-for\-dollar matching contribution on salary reduction\ncontributions made by each participant up to 3% after one year of service.<\/span>
