MSS Security is seeking AGSVA-cleared Security Officers for full-time and part-time opportunities across government and high-security environments in Canberra.

About the Role

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work across a range of government and high-security sites, performing duties such as:

  • Access control and visitor management

  • Security patrols and incident response

  • Control room operations

  • Monitoring security systems and alarms

  • Asset and infrastructure protection

  • Report writing and incident documentation

  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders

  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for personnel, visitors, and assets

What We're Looking For

We're looking for security professionals who are:

  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused

  • Strong communicators who can build positive relationships with stakeholders

  • Able to remain calm and make sound decisions in dynamic environments

  • Committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and inclusive workplace

  • Interested in developing a long-term career within the security industry

To be considered, you must have:

  • A current AGSVA Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2, or PV)

  • A current ACT Security Licence (or the ability to obtain one)

  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills

  • Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Professional presentation and attention to detail

  • The ability to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
