Your mission, roles and responsibilities

  • Advise and support local senior management on all matters related to security.
  • Assess local security risks and relevant security requirements, and use this information to develop a security threat and risk analysis in accordance with FAU-S-LSG-5203 (Physical Security of FORVIA Faurecia Facilities). Provide an ongoing assessment of the internal and external security situation within and around the facility and update the security threat and risk analysis accordingly.
  • Draft and update the site security concept in accordance with FAU-F-LSG-5211 (Site Security Concept). Create and update local security procedures in accordance with the relevant FORVIA Faurecia standards and forms.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain operational security measures and systems.
  • Manage security incidents appropriately in accordance with local legislation and FAU-S-LSG-5203 (Physical Security of FORVIA Faurecia Facilities).
  • Plan and supervise any contracted security guard services. Oversee the conduct of background checks for security guards and continuously measure the quality of service. Ensure the creation and updating of service work instructions for security services in accordance with FAU-S-LSG-5203 (Physical Security of FORVIA Faurecia Facilities).
  • Support any bidding process for security services and systems with the aim of ensuring adequate service quality. Actively participate in recruitment interviews for security personnel, specifically security guards to be hired at the company’s facilities.
  • Oversee key management and access control procedures and requirements.
  • Conduct security awareness training for facility staff and visiting employees of FORVIA Faurecia.
  • Assist with and support internal and external audits on safety issues.

  • Work closely with the respective Regional/Country/Cluster Safety Manager and with the Faurecia Group Safety Office at FORVIA.

  • Establish a local network for gathering safety-related information and for the rapid and targeted handling of incidents.
