Senior Account Executive II - SLED
You will own the end-to-end sales process for state and local government opportunities: prospect, develop, negotiate, and close complex enterprise contracts. You will build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, lead product demonstrations, respond to RFX, maintain accurate CRM data, and support post-sale adoption and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle across assigned SLED territory
- Build and grow long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
- Maintain a strong, predictable pipeline and accurate forecasts
- Prospect, develop, and expand enterprise accounts
- Lead executive presentations and product demonstrations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to close complex deals
- Manage RFX and solicitation responses for public sector deals
- Maintain daily Salesforce data and meeting notes
- Support post-sale adoption and account expansion
- Travel frequently to customer sites and industry events
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or 5+ years of government sales experience
- 5+ years selling SaaS or AI solutions to government customers
- Proven track record closing enterprise deals sized $75K–$3M per year
- Hunter mentality with experience building and maintaining pipeline
- Experience with public sector procurement and complex sales processes
- Consistent history of hitting sales targets
- Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to coordinate with product, engineering, legal, finance, and marketing
