Senior Account Executive II - SLED

You will own the end-to-end sales process for state and local government opportunities: prospect, develop, negotiate, and close complex enterprise contracts. You will build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, lead product demonstrations, respond to RFX, maintain accurate CRM data, and support post-sale adoption and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle across assigned SLED territory
  • Build and grow long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Maintain a strong, predictable pipeline and accurate forecasts
  • Prospect, develop, and expand enterprise accounts
  • Lead executive presentations and product demonstrations
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to close complex deals
  • Manage RFX and solicitation responses for public sector deals
  • Maintain daily Salesforce data and meeting notes
  • Support post-sale adoption and account expansion
  • Travel frequently to customer sites and industry events

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or 5+ years of government sales experience
  • 5+ years selling SaaS or AI solutions to government customers
  • Proven track record closing enterprise deals sized $75K–$3M per year
  • Hunter mentality with experience building and maintaining pipeline
  • Experience with public sector procurement and complex sales processes
  • Consistent history of hitting sales targets
  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to coordinate with product, engineering, legal, finance, and marketing
