The Mid-Market Sales (MMS) team is a critical growth engine for clients in GCS designed to grow medium and large sized businesses in The Netherlands. Through long-term relationship development, we’re dedicated to understanding the business goals by providing advertising solutions to drive business success.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will bring a passion for sales, knowledge of online media, and commitment to maximize customer success. You will act like an owner, move with velocity through change, finding innovative and strategic ways to consistently deliver extraordinary and incremental outcomes for both Google and our customers. Building trusted relationships with customers along the way, you will uncover their business needs and translate them into powerful solutions to achieve their most ambitious goals. Your role as a Senior Account Executive is to partner with teams internally and build c-level relationships externally. Translating your marketing knowledge and strong client relationships into downstream impact for the business and for Google.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Ireland: €114000 - €117000 (EUR) + 60% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business issues, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital marketing or digital media/advertising sales.
  • Experience presenting to or selling to C-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Dutch fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context.
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaged selling in the Dutch market.
  • Experience selling against traditional and digital media advertising solutions.
  • Knowledge of traditional and contemporary or online marketing strategy and tactics (e.g., product knowledge across all digital advertising products areas).
  • Ability to leverage business acumen to strategically assess and help solve client needs.
