Senior Accountant I

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for owning assigned accounting processes and supporting the financial reporting activities of Flogistix, a multi-entity oilfield services and manufacturing organization. Flogistix operates as a subsidiary of Flowco Holdings, Inc., a publicly traded company.

Essential Functions

• Own assigned accounting functions and serve as the primary accounting resource and point of contact for those areas

• Lead month-end close activities for assigned areas, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

• Perform financial statement and account analysis for assigned areas

• Support parent-company reporting requirements through preparation of schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation

• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Assist with annual financial, tax, vendor, and other audits by preparing supporting schedules and responding to audit requests

• Research accounting issues for conformity with GAAP and company policy and recommend appropriate accounting treatment

• Assist with training and development of accounting personnel

• Timely and effectively complete miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned

• Continually drive ongoing process and procedural improvements, including internal controls, within the accounting department and company

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, and/or equivalent

• CPA eligible required, CPA preferred

• Minimum 3-5 years accounting experience required

• Oil and gas, manufacturing, or industrial services experience preferred

• NetSuite ERP experience preferred

• Strong spreadsheet skills using Microsoft Excel

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements

• Ability to partner effectively with operational departments and business leaders

• Ability to maintain organized and audit-ready supporting documentation

• Ability to research accounting issues and recommend appropriate accounting treatment
