Senior Accountant - Product Control

Analyze and prepare reconciliations and complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and other reports for financial reporting (20%).
Use sophisticated spreadsheet techniques and complicated finance and accounting principles to analyze monthly prepaids, accruals and other operational expense related items (25%).
Gather and analyze financial and operational data to develop initiatives for improving the efficiency and overall effectiveness of the company’s financial and accounting operations (35%).
Use automated tools for reconciliation and profit and loss reporting, including Unix commands, SQL queries, and running scripts in Python (10%).
Perform ad hoc reporting and execute accounting and auditing projects that require comprehensive data analysis (10%).
Experience generating key reports for financial auditing.
Experience leading control testing plans and testing execution on Oracle EBS systems and Workday Financials/HCM systems.
Experience writing data analytics and reporting scripts using Python and SQL to automate financial audit testing through a relational database management system.
Experience analyzing financial statements and key controls to ensure accuracy in reporting.
