Your Mission: The Financial Modernizer

You will be the financial heartbeat, ensuring everything runs smoothly and accurately. Although “crunching numbers’ is an important part of this position, it’s also about providing insights that allow the leadership team to make smart decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting cycle using your expertise to maintain impeccable financial records
• Oversee bill payments with precision and ensure all accounts payable and receivable are in perfect balance
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements, ensuring every penny is accounted for with eagle-eyed attention to detail
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements), and the ability to explain the “story behind the numbers”
• Help us stay compliant with all accounting standards and tax regulations

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills area
• Proficient in standard accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Enterprise)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Microsoft Access is a plus)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), to collaborate with stakeholders across the business
• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Salary Range:
  Negotiable and commensurate with experience and the Midwest region cost of living scale
