Senior Accounts Executive
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts including general ledger, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports and statements for clients
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities
- Review and monitor day-to-day accounting operations and transactions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory regulations (e.g., GST/BAS, tax filings, payroll)
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities if required
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
Experience
- At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including hands-on experience with full set of accounts.
- Prior experience in supervising or mentoring junior team members is advantageous
