Senior Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full sets of accounts including general ledger, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports and statements for clients
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Review and monitor day-to-day accounting operations and transactions
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory regulations (e.g., GST/BAS, tax filings, payroll)
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities if required
  • Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.

Experience

  • At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including hands-on experience with full set of accounts.
  • Prior experience in supervising or mentoring junior team members is advantageous
