Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will play a critical leadership role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.<\/span>

What You'll Do<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

Financial Reporting & Close Management<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and supporting reconciliations.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop and maintain executive\-level financial reporting packages and dashboards for leadership.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Partner with the CFO to provide meaningful financial insights and recommendations.<\/span>

Accounting Operations<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Oversee all core accounting functions, including:<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Accounts Payable<\/span>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Accounts Receivable<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Payroll<\/span>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Fixed Assets<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>General Ledger Accounting<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Cash and Treasury Support<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and the chart of accounts.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.<\/span>
<\/p>

Internal Controls & Compliance<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Design, implement, and continuously improve internal controls and accounting processes.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary owner of audit preparation activities.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Prepare audit schedules, support requests, and coordinate with external auditors.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance processes in partnership with external tax advisors.<\/span>

Systems, Automation & Process Improvement<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead accounting transformation initiatives focused on automation, efficiency, and scalability.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Support implementation and optimization of ERP systems, close management tools, reporting solutions, and AP automation platforms.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the accounting function.<\/span>

Planning & Strategic Support<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist with acquisition integrations and accounting process standardization as the company continues to grow.<\/span>

Team Leadership<\/span><\/b>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead, mentor, and develop a high\-performing accounting team, including international accounting staff and outsourced accounting resources.<\/span>

Qualifications<\/span><\/b>

Required Experience<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>6+ years of progressive accounting experience.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing accounting teams.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience managing month\-end close processes for multi\-entity or multi\-location organizations.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Proven ability to implement and improve accounting processes and internal controls.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong financial analysis capabilities.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience working in fast\-paced, growth\-oriented environments.<\/span>
<\/p>

Preferred Experience<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>CPA designation strongly preferred.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Public accounting experience, particularly with a Big Four or national accounting firm.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience in restaurant, retail, hospitality, franchise, or other multi\-unit operating environments.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience with acquisitions, integrations, and scaling finance functions.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience with Sage Intacct or similar cloud\-based ERP systems.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience with AP automation, close management, reconciliation, and financial reporting tools.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Knowledge of POS systems and back\-office platforms commonly used in multi\-location businesses.<\/span>
