SENIOR ADMINSTRATIVE ASSISTANT – FULL TIME – COMMUNITY HOSPICE (Albany Office)
Narrative:
Administrative Assistant – Community Hospice Community Hospice is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated hospice team. This important role supports our mission of providing exceptional care and service to patients, families, and the community.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answering and directing calls through a multi-line phone system Routing calls and messages to clinical and field staff
- Welcoming and assisting visitors to the office
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail
- Managing incoming faxes and electronic communications
- Assisting with medical record and chart audits
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies
- Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records Utilizing various computer software programs and office systems
- Providing general administrative support to the hospice team
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of administrative or secretarial experience
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computer applications and data entry
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Associate degree

Pay Range: $18.50 - $24.92
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
