Senior Airfreight Customer Service
Basic Salary: $3,200 - $4,500
Working Days: 9am - 6pm (Mon-Fri), 9am - 1pm (Sat) - Alt Sat after probation
Working Location: Changi Airfreight Centre
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for key customers on airfreight inquiries
- Handle end-to-end quotation (RFQ, ad-hoc, project shipments) with competitive pricing strategy
- Liaise with airlines, co-loaders, and vendors to secure best rates and space
- Follow up on quotations and drive conversion to confirmed bookings
- Provide market insights (rates, capacity, peak season trends) to customers and internal team
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and accounts for smooth execution
- Support and work closely with Sales / SOE team on business development and account management
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively manage exceptions
- Maintain accurate records in system (e.g., Shipthis )
- Mentor junior team members when required
Requirements
- With 5 – 10 years’ experience in airfreight / freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of airfreight operations, pricing, and airline coordination
- Proven experience in quotation handling and customer servicing
- With experience handling key accounts / freehand customers
- Familiar with Singapore Customs permits (XO, OD, etc.) is an advantage
