Senior AML/KYC Analyst

The role sits within the Governance, Risk & Compliance function. The team’s focus is to support the business to ensure all legislative, regulatory and best practice requirements are met. The Senior AML/KYC Analyst will be responsible for providing effective support to Davies Global Solutions business to ensure it meets all legislative, regulatory, and best practice requirements regarding client take-on Classification: Internal activities. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will support global operations perform end to end AML and KYC reviews to global regulatory standards and help establish processes, controls and quality standards relating to regulatory compliance and financial crime. The Senior AML/KYC Analyst will report directly to the Risk & Compliance Manager – Davies Global Solutions. The candidate should be an extremely well organised individual with proven AML and KYC knowledge, together with good excel skills.
AML and KYC Operations

• Conduct Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence on individual and corporate clients.
• Review and verify customer documentation (corporate structures, UBOs, source of funds/wealth).
• Perform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening.
• Assist in escalation and closure of system alerts.
• Ensure internal screening lists are maintained in line with client base.
• Assess customer risk and apply appropriate risk ratings.
• Escalate higher risk cases with clear, well-reasoned recommendations.
• Support and strengthen financial crime prevention policies and procedures across Global Solutions.
• Assist in refreshing AML/KYC risk assessments across Global Solutions.
• Horizon scanning on global AML, Sanctions, Fraud, CTF, and related legislation.

Quality and Governance

• Ensure all work aligns with AML/KYC regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain clear audit trails and case documentation.
• Identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing AML/KYC processes.
• Support internal and external audits where required.
• Contribute to compliance training content and ensure effective rollout.
• Support compliance-related projects and assist in enhancing the Compliance Framework.

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise effectively with UK and India based Governance Risk and Compliance Teams.
• Communicate findings clearly in written English.
• Raise issues proactively and constructively.
• Strong knowledge and experience in financial crime compliance within financial services.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail and documentation quality.
• Judgement based decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to balance speed, quality, and regulatory risk.
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working across multiple global jurisdictions with an understanding of associated compliance challenges.
