About the Role

The Senior Analyst, Loyalty Marketing will play a key role in developing, implementing, and measuring marketing initiatives that drive customer loyalty and elevate the customer experience across the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. family of brands. This role will support The Key Rewards loyalty program by helping bring cross-brand marketing campaigns to life across email, digital, site, store, print, and other customer touchpoints.

Reporting to the Loyalty Marketing team, this person will partner closely with internal cross-functional teams, Capital One, external vendors, and analytics partners to develop campaigns, build customer journeys, and evaluate performance against Loyalty KPIs. The Senior Analyst will also bring strong data skills to the team, using SQL and analytical tools to help investigate loyalty program trends, validate & clean data, and translate results into actionable marketing recommendations.

Through this work, the Senior Analyst, Loyalty Marketing will help accelerate membership growth, deepen customer engagement, drive incremental spend, and unlock the value of WSI’s cross-brand portfolio. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented marketer and analytical thinker who is comfortable managing multiple campaigns, working with large data sets, communicating insights clearly, and operating in a fast-paced, multi-channel retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and optimize loyalty marketing campaigns across email, digital, site, store, print, and other customer touchpoints.
  • Support The Key Rewards campaign strategy, including acquisition, retention, seasonal, life stage, evergreen, and triggered communications.
  • Write campaign briefs, define audience requirements, coordinate creative development, route approvals, and manage execution timelines.
  • Partner with internal teams, Capital One, and third-party vendors to deliver online and offline campaigns that support loyalty program objectives.
  • Use SQL to query, validate, clean, and analyze customer, campaign, and transaction data for campaign QA, reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Partner with data and technology teams to investigate program trends, troubleshoot data issues, and improve loyalty program data quality.
  • Analyze campaign performance across engagement, conversion, customer behavior, spend, retention, test results, and Loyalty KPIs.
  • Translate performance results into clear insights, recommendations, and next steps to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards using Excel, Tableau, Domo, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools.
  • Present campaign results and insights to cross-functional partners in a clear, concise, and actionable way.

Criteria

  • 2+ years of experience in performance marketing, marketing analytics, CRM, loyalty, or a similar field; retail or loyalty experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong campaign management experience, including briefing, audience coordination, creative development, execution, QA, reporting, and optimization.
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to query, validate, clean, and analyze customer or marketing data.
  • Experience working with large data sets and translating findings into practical marketing recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience building reports, dashboards, pivot tables, and performance summaries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across marketing, analytics, creative, technical, vendor, and leadership audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities across stakeholders and vendors.
  • Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Domo, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco, CA office Monday through Thursday.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $79,000 - $92,000 Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
