Senior Analyst – Vendor Reconciliation | GBS Finance | Accounts Payable Excellence

Flora Food Group is looking for an experienced Senior Analyst – Vendor Reconciliation to join our Global Business Services Finance team.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of Accounts Payable balances across global entities by managing end-to-end vendor reconciliation activities, supporting financial integrity, and enabling effective period-end close processes.

Role Summary

As a Senior Analyst – Vendor Reconciliation, you will be responsible for reconciling vendor statements with SAP data, including invoices, payments, and credits. You will identify and resolve discrepancies, manage open items, and ensure accurate financial reporting across vendor accounts.

Working in SAP S/4HANA and reporting tools, you will analyze AP data, support period-end close activities, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders. This role is key to strengthening reconciliation governance, improving financial accuracy, and ensuring compliance within a global shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end vendor reconciliations, including invoice-level matching, open item analysis, ageing reviews, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Reconcile vendor statements with SAP data across invoices, payments, credits, and adjustments.
  • Support period-end close activities and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
  • Analyze AP reports and payment data using SAP (FI/MM) to identify mismatches and exceptions.
  • Collaborate with AP, Payments, Procurement, Treasury, and vendors to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, SOX controls, audit requirements, and internal policies.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and efficiency in reconciliation activities.

So, What Does It Take to Be Successful in This Role?

  • Strong Vendor Reconciliation Expertise – Hands-on experience in vendor reconciliation, including invoice matching, open item management, ageing analysis, and dispute resolution, with strong understanding of P2P and payment cycles.
  • SAP & Data Skills – Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA (FI & MM) with ability to extract, analyze, and interpret AP data, invoice reports, and payment transactions in high-volume environments.
  • Understanding of Payment Processes – Knowledge of payment runs, clearing processes, unapplied payments, and their impact on reconciliation accuracy.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Strong ability to identify root causes of discrepancies, resolve reconciling items, and drive timely closure in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management Skills – Effective communication and coordination with vendors, AP teams, Procurement, and Finance stakeholders to ensure issue resolution.
  • Detail-Oriented & Process-Driven – High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity across large datasets and period-end activities.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset – Proactive approach toward improving reconciliation processes, controls, and operational efficiency in a shared services environment.
