Senior Android Engineer

You will design, develop, and enhance user-facing Android features using modern Android tools and frameworks. You will work with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to improve performance and stability, lead features from ideation to release, collaborate with product and backend partners, champion engineering best practices, and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive, elegant, and stable mobile experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs
• Lead the full lifecycle of product features from ideation and technical design to implementation, testing, and release
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and Data Scientists to create impactful solutions
• Champion engineering best practices to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Mentor junior developers and elevate team standards and collaboration

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing Android applications
• Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java
• Strong grasp of Android SDK and architecture patterns such as MVVM
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow or RxJava, and libraries such as Retrofit and Room
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a product-focused mindset
• Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, lead complex projects, and influence architecture decisions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
