Senior/ Architectural Coordinator – Building Projects (Islandwide)
About the Company & Role
We are partnering with a leading A1 Main Contractor to recruit a Senior / Architectural Coordinator to support and coordinate architectural design and technical works across multiple HDB and condominium development projects in Singapore.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating between consultants, subcontractors, and the internal project team to ensure timely, accurate, and buildable architectural drawings that meet design intent and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to ensure design consistency, buildability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Liaise with consultants and subcontractors to resolve design and technical issues, ensuring that design intent is effectively translated into constructible solutions.
- Lead and guide a team of draftspersons in preparing detailed shop drawings and technical submissions according to the project master programme.
- Identify discrepancies across different disciplines and propose practical solutions to maintain design integrity and buildability.
- Work closely with the site team to support construction sequencing, material selection, and design implementation.
- Ensure that architectural drawings comply with statutory requirements and are submitted promptly for approval.
- Support project documentation, coordination meetings, and inspection processes as required.
- Uphold safety and quality standards in all aspects of coordination and site work.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in architectural coordination within the construction industry, preferably with main contractors in Singapore.
- Experience completing a full cycle of HDB or Condominium project as an Architectural Coordinator is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction details, building materials, and local authority submission requirements.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and other relevant coordination tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative project environment.
