Senior Associate, Nature & Biodiversity

Role Description:

The Senior Associate \u2013 Nature & Biodiversity will support the development and delivery of nature and biodiversity solutions by conducting research, analysing environmental datasets, and generating actionable insights for clients. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, an interest in sustainability and natural capital, and the ability to work collaboratively across cross\-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>

  • Conduct research and analysis on biodiversity, environmental, and natural capital topics.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Process, analyse, and visualise large environmental datasets and develop reports and dashboards.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Support the development of methodologies, models, and new nature\-related products and solutions.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Assist with client\-specific research requests and project delivery.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Technology, and Client Services teams to achieve strategic objectives.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Develop presentations, reports, and visualisations to communicate findings effectively.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, methodologies, and datasets in nature and biodiversity.<\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Master's degree or higher in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, Biodiversity, Sustainability, Forestry, or a related field.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • 1\u20134 years of experience in environmental research, sustainability consulting, or biodiversity\-related projects.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong analytical and data handling skills, with experience working with large datasets.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and dashboard creation.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Working knowledge of Python or R; familiarity with GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS) is preferred.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Exposure to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), EEIO models, or climate datasets is an advantage.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong communication, problem\-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Self\-driven, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a fast\-paced environment.<\/span>
