Responsibilities
- - We are looking for a Senior Axiom Developer with strong experience in regulatory reporting and stress testing, particularly DFAST (Dodd Frank Act Stress Test) AND/OR CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) AND/OR Basel III. - The role involves designing, developing, and supporting AxiomSL-based regulatory reporting solutions to meet regulatory and internal reporting requirements. - The candidate will work closely with risk, finance, and regulatory reporting teams to implement and maintain Axiom data models, calculations, and reports supporting stress testing and regulatory submissions.
- Design, develop, and maintain AxiomSL regulatory reporting applications supporting DFAST stress testing requirements.
- Implement and configure Axiom objects, including: o Data Sources o Data Models o Portfolios o Aggregations o Reports and Workflow components
- Develop Axiom rules and calculations required for stress testing scenarios and regulatory reporting.
- Support DFAST stress testing cycles, including data preparation, calculations, validation, and reporting.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable Axiom solutions.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure regulatory reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with risk, finance, and regulatory reporting teams to implement new regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Axiom reports, data ingestion, and calculations.
- Optimize data processing performance within the Axiom platform for large datasets.
- Participate in UAT, regulatory submission cycles, and production deployments.
- Maintain technical documentation, data lineage, and regulatory mappings. - Axiom developers who understands various capital market product nuances along with prior experience in implementing FRY-Reports -Developers are expected to own an end to end deliverable including data analysis upstream, data sourcing and building allocation rules. - In addition, Developers will need to create TDD's and build out automation testing for Axiom, upgrading platform and have experience working with CI/CD (DevOps). - Perform analysis of user stories that may include complex functionalities for TDD's - Conduct high and low level design, development, testing, coding and issue/query resolutions - Perform unit testing, integration testing while participating in configuration management and deployment procedures Participate in UAT/production support activities
SKILLS
Must have
- 5 years of AxiomSL developer / configurator experience with prior experience in Financial institution (preferably banking and capital markets) - Databricks and Snowflake experience is preferred -Exposure to Agile concepts, clear communication skills and be ability to interact with business users and explain the issues. - Must have relevant Axiom experience, working with large SQL queries, python programming and design patterns needed for these regulatory reports. - Strong hands-on experience with AxiomSL ControllerView platform. - Experience with US reg reporting. - Strong experience with Axiom objects and components, including: o Data Sources o Data Models o Aggregations o Portfolio o Reports o Data Mapping - Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases. - Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and regulatory data controls.
- Good understanding of financial products and regulatory reporting processes - Knowledge of Banking and capital markets Knowledge of regulatory reporting , Data governance Additional core skills: - Comfortable using JIRA - Good communication skills
