Your Role<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/h2>

We are looking for a <\/span><\/span>Senior Backend Engineer<\/span><\/span><\/b> who enjoys taking ownership, thinking beyond individual tickets and actively shaping a growing platform.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

In our environment, backend engineering means more than implementation. You will be involved in <\/span><\/span>technical decision\-making, architectural evolution and improving how we build and run our systems<\/span><\/span><\/b>. As we grow, this role can naturally evolve towards <\/span><\/span>technical leadership or a lead position<\/span><\/span><\/b>, depending on your interests and strengths.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

What You\u2019ll Do<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

  • Drive the further development of our backend systems and services
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Take part in architectural decisions and backlog prioritization
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Refactor and improve existing codebases, reducing technical debt
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Build and enhance APIs to make our platform more accessible and scalable
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Automate internal processes to support business teams and customers<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Take shared ownership of DevOps topics<\/span><\/span><\/b>, including deployment, monitoring and reliability
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Orchestrate Docker containers for stable deployments on AWS
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines (e.g. Drone.io, Cypress)
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Create and maintain clean, sustainable documentation<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    What You Bring<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
    <\/h2>

    • Strong experience with <\/span><\/span>backend development in a production environment
      <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • In\-depth understanding of <\/span><\/span>Django and Django REST framework or similar
      <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Python<\/span><\/span><\/b> proficiency (must\-have)
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Hands\-on experience with DevOps practices<\/span><\/span><\/b>, including CI/CD, containerization and cloud environments
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Experience with <\/span><\/span>Docker and AWS<\/span><\/span><\/b>; OpenSearch and monitoring tools are a plus
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • A pragmatic, quality\-driven engineering mindset with a sense of ownership
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Ability to balance code quality, delivery speed and system reliability
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Enjoyment of working in a collaborative team that shares responsibility and impact
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Bonus skill: a surprisingly solid taste in bad music for the perfect sprint song<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

      The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience and is between<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>3,900 \u20ac<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>and<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>5,000 \u20ac<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>gross per month (on a 38.5 hour basis). The salary is paid 14 times per year.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
