<\/p>We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled (Senior) BI\nSpecialist<\/b> to join our Finance team in Munich or Istanbul. This role will be\ninstrumental in transforming complex financial data into actionable insights,\ndriving data\-informed decision\-making not only within Finance but also across\nkey departments including Data Operations, Product, and IT. The ideal candidate\nwill be adept at leveraging Power BI for advanced visualization and analysis,\nwith a keen interest in exploring and implementing innovative AI tools to\nenhance our data presentation capabilities.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>In this role, you will:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Design, develop, and maintain\ninteractive dashboards and reports in Power BI, primarily focusing on financial\nperformance, KPIs, and operational metrics, utilizing advanced DAX measures to\ndeliver highly dynamic and accurate insights<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Architect, optimize, and govern\ncomplex Excel\-based financial models leveraging Power Query (and Power Pivot\nwhere applicable), ensuring robust data integrity, scalability, superior\nperformance, rapid refresh capabilities, and intuitive usability for critical\ndaily operational and strategic planning<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Apply foundational T\-SQL skills (nice\-to\-have) to query,\nvalidate, and transform data directly from relational databases when required,\nsupporting seamless integration into BI workflows<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Visualize and analyze large\nfinancial datasets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for\nimprovement, providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Serve as a primary strategic partner\nto the Head of Finance, Controller, and Finance Manager, proactively advising\non financial reporting best practices, leading the evolution of sophisticated\nforecasting models, and providing critical analytical support for strategic\nplanning and long\-range organizational goals<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Provide BI support and analytical\nexpertise to other departments, including Data Operations, Product, and IT,\ntailoring solutions to their specific data needs, ensuring data accuracy and\ntimely availability<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Proactively identify and explore new\ndata sources and integration methods to enrich our analytical capabilities. Develop\nand maintain project\-specific dashboards, including automation of data\nextraction from Jira into Power BI, enabling daily monitoring and invoicing\nsupport<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Lead the research, evaluation, and\nimplementation of cutting\-edge AI tools and techniques for advanced data\nvisualization, predictive analytics, and insight generation, proposing and\ndriving innovative solutions that create significant business value<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>- At least 7 years of professional experience<\/b> as a\nBusiness Intelligence Analyst or Specialist, ideally with strong exposure to financial data and reporting<\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Proven, hands\-on experience designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and\nreports using Microsoft Power BI<\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Strong experience working with diverse and complex data sources<\/b>,\nincluding advanced proficiency in Excel<\/b> (Power Query; Power Pivot is a plus)<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Practical experience working with Jira<\/b> and familiarity with ERP and/or CRM systems<\/b> (e.g. Zoho or similar platforms)<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Solid ability to analyze large and complex datasets, identify key insights,\ntrends, and anomalies, and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Proven capability to communicate analytical findings with executive\-level clarity and\ninfluence<\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Proficiency\nin SQL<\/b> for extracting, querying,\nvalidating, and manipulating data from relational databases (highly desirable)<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- A genuine interest in AI concepts<\/b>,\nparticularly as they relate to data visualization, advanced analytics, and\ninsight generation<\/span><\/span>
