The role: What's in the Box

Are you ready to turn one of the most prominent e-commerce brands into the Netherlands’ ultimate “Love Brand”? As our Senior Brand Manager NL, you will take full ownership of all brand-related activities for the Dutch market, with a strong social-first lens — commanding both organic and paid social as primary growth levers. Your ultimate goal is to drive Brand Consideration and Brand Equity, deeply embedding our brand into Dutch culture.

This is not a traditional, siloed branding role. You will operate within a fast-paced, complex matrix organization, bridging local execution with global strategy. We need a commercial, highly strategic marketer who possesses an elite track record in end-to-end campaign management, exceptional agency governance, and specific expertise in driving high- converting D2C retail campaigns that bridge customer centricity with short-term performance. You live and breathe social media — you know what makes content stop the scroll, and you understand how organic storytelling and paid amplification work together to build both brand love and business results. Crucially, you will work in lockstep with our Growth Marketing team, ensuring that high-impact brand equity seamlessly fuels the performance funnel to drive scalable business growth.

What you’ll do: The Recipe

  • Drive Local Strategy & Brand Equity: Own and execute a winning brand strategy for the Dutch market that aligns with our global brand framework while staying hyper-relevant to local consumer insights and trends. Social media — both organic and paid — will be your primary channel for building brand salience and cultural relevance.
  • Lead Social-First Campaign Management: Own the full campaign calendar with a social-first mindset. You design campaigns that are born on social — then extended to ATL, digital, and activations — rather than the other way around. This includes managing briefs to PCRs for integrated 360° campaigns, Hockey sponsorship, and large influencer collaborations. You will set the organic social content strategy and oversee paid social investment across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms, ensuring both work in concert to maximize reach, engagement, and
    conversion.
  • Own Organic & Paid Social End-to-End: This is a newly elevated priority. You will personally shape the organic social strategy — tone of voice, content pillars, creator partnerships, community moments — and partner closely with the Paid Social team to ensure on what content is needed. You understand full-funnel social: awareness through Reels and TikTok, consideration via UGC and influencer content, and conversion through performance-led paid social campaigns.
  • Accelerate D2C & Social Commerce: Design and execute high-performing D2C campaigns that treat social commerce as a core acquisition channel. You will know exactly how to leverage performance mechanics and brand storytelling simultaneously to drive acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty.
  • Navigate the Matrix: Act as a master collaborator within a matrix organization. You will work in close lockstep with local marketing operations (Media, Product Marketing, Growth) and Global Brand teams to ensure seamless alignment and buy-in.
  • Elevate Agency & Creator Management: Manage, challenge, and inspire our creative, media, PR, and social/influencer agency partners. You will set high standards for output, negotiate effectively, and ensure agencies deliver cutting-edge, thumb-stopping, and cost-effective work. You bring strong instincts for what great social creative looks like —platform-native vs. adapted — and you brief and evaluate accordingly.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Turn consumer insights and campaign data into actionable initiatives. You will take tight control of the allocated marketing budget, rigorously tracking KPIs and ROI to prove how brand creativity fuels business metrics. For social, this means owning channel KPIs (reach, engagement rate, share of voice, CPM, CPA, ROAS) and using real-time data to optimise both organic posting cadence and paid spend allocation.
  • Cultural Relevance & Trend Leadership: Monitor competitive activities and cultural shifts in the Netherlands to inspire the wider team with new developments, buzz-worthy moments, and local brand partnerships. You are chronically online in the best possible way — you spot emerging formats, sounds,
    and creators before they peak, and you know how to move fast enough to capitalize on them.

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients

  • 7+ years’ experience in brand management or integrated marketing, with a significant portion in social media strategy (organic and paid).
  • Proven track record owning social channels end-to-end — strategy, content, community, paid amplification — not just contributing to them.
  • Deep expertise in Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and emerging platforms; you can read a paid social dashboard and a content calendar with equal fluency.
  • Strong creative judgment for social-native content: you know the difference between a great TV ad and a great Reel, and you brief accordingly.
  • Elite track record in end-to-end 360° campaign management and agency governance.
  • Experience in D2C or subscription e-commerce environments; understanding of performance marketing funnels.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into commercial action.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
