Senior Business Consultant, Product Owner AML, Netcompany Banking services
Do you have experience as a Product Owner within AML and a strong understanding of banking operations? If so, this role could be the right opportunity for you. We are looking for a Product Owner to set the direction for our solutions in the prevention of financial crime. You will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our AML systems, ensuring that we deliver solutions that enable our customers to comply with applicable regulatory requirements.

We deliver various IT solutions and services to banks and savings institutions across Denmark and other Nordic countries. We provide a modern, cloud-based core banking platform serving more than 50 Nordic banks with over 2 million end customers. Our solutions encompass daily banking operations, mobile and internet banking, payments, investment management, risk management, compliance, and open banking.
Responsibilities and technologies
This role requires the ability to navigate confidently between compliance and technology. You have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and translate them into clear and actionable backlog priorities. At the same time, you possess strong knowledge of banking operations and can identify and communicate customer needs clearly, enabling development teams to deliver precise and effective solutions.
You act as the link between complex domain expertise and development teams, working closely with engineers to ensure progress and high-quality delivery. Your primary responsibility is to set the direction for the product and prioritize the backlog, while also contributing to traditional business analysis tasks. Strong domain expertise is essential for making the right decisions and creating value.
You work in a structured and analytical way, while also being pragmatic and capable of challenging business stakeholders when it leads to better solutions.
Your responsibilites will typically include:
- Defining and maintaining the product roadmap, translating strategic vision into concrete development initiatives, and communicating plans to stakeholders.
- Driving compliance-related activities in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Acting as a Product Owner with responsibility for building, maintaining, and prioritizing a transparent and value-creating product backlog.
- Understanding the complexities of AML and facilitating workshops and working groups with subject matter experts.
- Interpreting complex AML regulations and translating them into precise system requirements, ensuring that diverse customers receive effective solutions that enable full regulatory compliance.
About you
To succeed in this role, you:
- Hold a master’s degree in finance, economics, IT, data science, or a similar field, combined with 5–6 years of experience in AML.
- Have experience from a hands-on analytical role that has evolved into a Product Owner position, bringing both detail orientation and strategic overview.
- Are strong in stakeholder management while also being customer-focused and able to challenge stakeholders constructively and professionally.
- Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken) is a must.
Have a strong interest in IT and experience working with systems and product development.
