A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Market Insight and Strategic Thinking
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior
Use market data to identify whitespace opportunities
Track KPIs and evaluate the success of initiatives
Commercial Acumen
Demonstrate understanding of pricing, value proposition, and reimbursement
Build a solid business case and support product launches or portfolio expansion
Stakeholder Management
Can drive cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, clinical teams and leadership team.
Can influence without direct authority and can work effectively across functions
Align different stakeholders around a common market opportunity
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Life Sciences, or any related field
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the medical device industry
Strong understanding of hospital environments and healthcare systems in emerging markets is preferred
May have practical knowledge of project management
