Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Senior Category Sales Manager - Industrial Plastics within our HDPE Group. This is a sales leadership role that will evolve and build a team in the future.
This position will need to be based in the Houston, TX area.
Responsibilities
- Steer sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization
- Lead sales process improvement, collaborating with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
- Drive sales operations innovation and advancement through enabling technologies to sales teams
- Lead and drive end-to-end market plans to service the consumer from ideation to execution
- Lead the development and implementation of an annual brand plan in partnership with business sales and marketing teams for the various markets
- Drive the identification and building of new go to market strategies that center equity and drive growth with target markets
- Manage dealer meetings and new dealer recruitment events including dealer onboarding process
Qualifications
A successful associate will be goal oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines, build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere, in addition to having the following:
- 3-5 years of Industrial Plastics experience
- Excellent verbal communication and communication skills
- Time management – schedule trainings, quarterly business reviews as well as personal travel based on opportunity & strategy
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Collaboration with other departments and functional groups within Ferguson
- Strong written skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficiency in O365 tools, including Power BI for reporting
- Ability to multi-task
- Enthusiasm and professionalism

Pay Range:

$7,949.70 - $17,325.00-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
