Senior Civil Engineer

You will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive site layouts for large scale infrastructure projects focusing on grading drainage utility systems and road design. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and sustainable site designs for data centers and industrial facilities. You will ensure compliance with local zoning laws environmental regulations and building codes. You will provide technical support during construction including reviewing contractor submittals site visits and resolving on site issues.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive site layout plans including grading drainage and access roads to ensure optimal site use and efficiency.
Design grading plans that address stormwater management erosion control and drainage systems to prepare the site for construction and meet regulatory standards.
Plan and design the layout of utilities (water sewage electrical and gas) to integrate seamlessly with the overall site plan.
Design site roads and access points for construction vehicles employees and utility services ensuring smooth traffic flow and safety.
Work closely with structural mechanical electrical and environmental engineers to integrate site infrastructure into the overall project.
Ensure all site designs comply with local zoning laws environmental regulations building codes and safety standards.
Provide technical support during the construction phase including reviewing contractor submittals conducting site visits and resolving on site issues.
Monitor project timelines and budgets for civil site work ensuring efficient project delivery while controlling costs.
Prepare detailed site design plans reports and technical specifications and maintain accurate and up to date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
7+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on site design for large scale infrastructure projects preferably in data centers or industrial facilities.
Expertise in civil engineering design software AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of grading drainage utility systems and road design.
Experience with stormwater management erosion control and environmental sustainability practices.
Familiarity with local regulations environmental standards and building codes relevant to site design.
Previous experience in large infrastructure or data center projects is highly desirable.
Strong ability to communicate technical designs to various stakeholders including contractors architects and senior engineers.
Professional Engineer PE certification preferred
