Senior Claims Executive, Motor - Up to S$5.5k

Job Description:

  • Advise policyholders and claimants on policy and claims related matters.
  • Able to negotiate and settle claims with Third Party claimants, insurers, lawyers and workshops accurately and timely.
  • Ensure each claim is assessed correctly in accordance to policy coverage and within the Authority Limit given, with adequate reserve set.
  • Ensure all correspondences and enquires, including complaints, are well managed and responded to in a timely manner with excellent claims service.
  • Liaise effectively with service providers and provide the required support to them, with the objective of delivering quality claims service experience.
  • Review claim files.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5 yrs years of related experience in GI. Claims experience minimum 3yrs handling complex motor claims. Skills to mentor junior staff
  • Strong understanding of claims-related SOP. Complete knowledge of related insurance products and services with mindset and ability for oversight of IT development projects. Experience in management of Customer Satisfaction-related issues
  • Able to professionally communicate with various levels of customers (internal and external).
  • Business acumen, with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently
  • Able to work and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong process orientation with analytical and deductive reasoning skills
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
