Your Role:
- Advise clients on using Citco Banking Online (CBO) to process payments, monitor account activity, and ensure an excellent customer service experience while maintaining confidentiality.
- Build strong relationships with clients and Citco colleagues across multiple locations (Amsterdam, Cork, Dublin, Luxembourg) and become knowledgeable about Citco’s banking operations.
- Conduct bank and securities statement reconciliations for all division banks, perform initial investigations on unreconciled items, and carry out FATF investigations for AML compliance
- Manage and control all payment cases opened, handle queries from internal departments and third parties, and support SOC 1 testing and monthly KPI reporting.
- Carry out intraday checks to ensure reconciliations complete within strict deadlines, generate and control multiple daily and weekly reports, and monitor centralized team email mailboxes.
- Actively assess risk, identify potential failure points, and highlight them to line managers and risk teams while seeking opportunities to standardize processes, assist in process mapping, automation, and engage in local and global projects.
- Create and update standing operating procedures, work instructions, and process flows, and support training of new team members on cash reconciliation tasks.
- Perform any additional tasks as they arise, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence.
About You:
- University degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting or any finance related field.
- 2+ years working experience preferably in Client services and finance services experience.
- Strong problem solving, time management, process management and analytical skills.
- Ability to escalate issues effectively to Management, while upholding the values of the Group and Company at all times.
- Strong understanding of SWIFT and banking systems.
- Hardworking, trustworthy individual with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, combined with the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge in general account reconciliation processing.
