Senior Cloud Security Engineer

You will design and maintain secure and highly available infrastructure on AWS applying zero trust principles across the cloud and network perimeter. You will develop custom automation scripts using Python Go or Bash to monitor compliance and reduce manual overhead. You will embed automated security controls into CI CD pipelines using GitHub Actions GitLab CI and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and AWS CDK. You will serve as the security SME for engineering teams translating security requirements into development tasks. You will leverage AI driven security using Agentic AI LLMs and frameworks like AWS Bedrock to build internal tools for automated vulnerability detection and secret scanning.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure highly available infrastructure on AWS applying zero trust principles across the cloud and network perimeter
• Develop custom automation scripts and tooling using Python Go or Bash to monitor compliance eliminate manual overhead and contextualize findings from detection systems
• Embed automated security controls into CI CD pipelines using GitOps principles GitHub Actions GitLab CI and Infrastructure as Code Terraform and AWS CDK
• Serve as the security SME for engineering running threat modeling sessions reviewing architectures and translating security requirements into development tasks
• Leverage Agentic AI LLMs and frameworks like AWS Bedrock to build internal tools for automated vulnerability detection and secret scanning

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Security DevSecOps or Site Reliability Engineering with a security focus
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including IAM EC2 ECS EKS VPC Lambda and security services such as GuardDuty SecurityHub CSPM Amazon Inspector
• Proficiency in Python Go and Bash
• Hands-on experience securing Docker containers Kubernetes (EKS) and deploying infrastructure as code via Terraform and Helm
• Excellent ability to translate complex security requirements into actionable development plans for cross functional teams
