As a Senior Commercial Lawyer (Partnerships), you’ll help MacPaw build scalable and legally sound partnerships across global markets.
In this role, you will:
Lead legal support for complex B2B partnerships and commercial deals — from first discussions to signed agreements.
Draft, review, and negotiate reseller, vendor, developer, embedded solutions, and other partnership agreements.
Work closely with Partnerships, Business Development, Product, R&D, Sales, and Finance teams to make sure legal solutions actually support business goals, not slow them down.
Help structure partnership models and commercial terms that are both practical and protective of MacPaw’s interests.
Join negotiations for high-value SaaS and enterprise agreements and help resolve difficult redlines or deal blockers.
Support AI-related partnerships by advising on regulations, data flows, integrations, and legal risks around AI technologies.
Navigate IP-related questions connected to AI-generated content, training data, licensing, and ownership.
Translate complex legal and regulatory topics into clear recommendations that business and product teams can actually use.
Build templates, playbooks, and scalable legal approaches for future partnership deals.
Share legal knowledge and negotiation best practices with cross-functional teams.
Skills you’ll need to bring:
Strong experience with B2B negotiations and complex commercial agreements.
Solid background in SaaS, enterprise contracts, and partnership deals.
Excellent drafting skills and the ability to turn messy business discussions into clear, workable contracts.
Strong commercial judgment — understanding when to push, when to compromise, and how to keep deals moving.
Experience with contract law and IP, including legal aspects of AI products, training data, licensing, and AI regulations.
Understanding of the evolving AI regulatory landscape (EU AI Act, US regulations, UK frameworks, etc.).
Working knowledge of GDPR and US data privacy laws.
Ability to work comfortably in fast-changing environments with a lot of ambiguity.
Collaborative mindset and confidence working with both business and technical teams.
Ability to explain legal complexity in a practical, business-friendly way.
At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English and fluent Ukrainian.

Basic understanding of tax law and knowing when to involve Finance or external advisors.
Resilience, adaptability, and a healthy sense of humor in fast-paced environments.
