Senior Communications & PR Manager

You will architect and execute global PR and communications strategies, overseeing external agencies and setting clear KPIs. You will build and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers and produce high-quality content for press releases, blogs, social, and executive materials. You will advise leaders and prepare them for media interviews and speaking engagements, collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering for accurate messaging, lead crisis communications, and monitor PR metrics to inform strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR and communication strategies that align with business objectives
• Oversee external PR agencies and partners globally and set clear KPIs
• Establish and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers
• Generate high-quality content across press releases, blog posts, social media, and executive briefs
• Advise and prepare leadership for media interviews, keynote speeches, and panels
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure consistent messaging and technical accuracy
• Lead crisis communications and develop mitigation frameworks
• Monitor and analyze PR metrics and report on share of voice and sentiment

Requirements

• Extensive experience in PR and communications with at least 3 years in the blockchain and crypto landscape
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts such as Layer 2 scaling into accessible narratives
• Established network of media contacts within Web3 and mainstream business and tech press
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrable portfolio
• Proven experience managing high-stakes communications in a 24/7 news cycle
• Track record of developing PR initiatives that contribute to long-term business growth
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, fast-paced environment and provide calm strategic counsel under pressure
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
