The Corporate Finance & Restructuring (“CF&R”) practice at FTI Consulting has 800+ professionals situated around the world. What You’ll Do
Within the Corporate Finance segment, the Office of the CFO practice offers solutions to manage the CFO’s inbox for a company that is maximizing its performance and positioned to meet today’s increasing challenges. The performance expectation for the finance function is at a new peak and the demands placed on CFO’s have never been greater.
Our ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 3-4 years of on-point project delivery experience in finance transformation and business process improvement initiatives, in a similar type advisory environment and/or in a corporate office with similar responsibilities. The Senior Consultant will support client delivery teams on the ground to reduce complexity and cost within the Finance function, improve service levels, enhance process efficiency and strengthen reporting capabilities. This role will be outside the US and the candidate will be expected to function as a key member of the team on finance transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Finance Transformation projects, which may cover some of the following topics: Finance function assessment, organizational redesign, cost reduction, lean process reengineering, financial close optimization, management reporting simplification, and shared services & outsourcing strategy, design implementation.
Support the OCFO team in continuing to build and grow the practice through the development of tools, methodologies, reports, models, work plans, playbooks, checklists and processes.
Participate in client pursuits.
Perform high quality client work and develop client reports/messaging, including taking a proactive approach and anticipating client needs

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or related fields.
Minimum of 3-4 years’ post-graduation professional work experience in finance transformation and business process design.
Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s).
Written and spoken fluency in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of key finance processes, accounting concepts, and best practices, with knowledge of governance.
Experience in process improvement, organizational design, and troubleshooting with mature judgment.
Excellent presentation skills using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and other tools.
Proactive self-starter with excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.
