Senior Consultant

The Role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team to perform Quantity Surveying services across international and domestic projects within the offshore and onshore oil, gas and petrochemical projects. Candidate will also provide support within infrastructure and construction industries through all project phases.

This position will report to the Lead QS and as part of a team work to develop and implement various estimating or cost management policies, procedures and activities across our clients project portfolio. Supports the lead QS and works as part of a team who will oversee the direction of the estimating or cost management team or function within a group, site, office or region.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to senior team members with change management, invoice validation, cost forecasting and project reporting.
  • Provide input into and help develop bid packages for clients.
  • Develop Schedule of Prices for unit rate contracting
  • Develop Preambles
  • Develop Bills of Quantities to be used for detailed commercial analysis and bid evaluations.
  • Perform quantity take-offs.
  • Utilize rhicoms software system, prepare invitations to tender and schedules of prices for major construction contracts.
  • Work within a team who will be responsible for post-contract administration including detailed measurement of IFC/AFC drawings and subsequent agreement with fabrication contractor.

Qualifications

  • BSC in Quantity Surveying, RICS certification or relevant project / professional experience.
  • 5-10 years' experience performing quantity surveying duties on both international and domestic projects within the oil & gas, infrastructure and construction industries.
