The Senior Consumer eCommerce Specialist - Paid Marketing will execute and optimize day-to-day paid media programs with a primary focus on in-house SEM and paid search performance, while supporting paid social execution and emerging paid initiatives, including paid LLM placements as applicable. This role partners closely with the Paid Marketing Senior Manager to deliver strong performance, maintain platform hygiene and standards, and drive continuous improvement through testing and analytics. This role will monitor performance signals, manage bids and budgets within guardrails, and proactively flag risks and opportunities to accelerate results.

How You'll Create Possibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In-House SEM Execution

  • Execute and optimize in-house SEM programs across search platforms, aligned to channel strategy and performance goals.

  • Build and refine campaign structures, keywords, match types, ad groups, and ad copy within established standards.

  • Implement optimization actions based on performance trends (queries, audiences, devices, geotargeting) to improve ROI.

Paid Search Mechanics

  • Manage paid search mechanics including campaign hygiene, naming conventions, targeting, and QA processes.

  • Maintain and improve quality signals (ad relevance, landing page alignment, account structure consistency) and ensure platform best practices are followed.

  • Coordinate with creative and web teams to ensure ad-to-landing page relevance and strong customer experience.

Bid & Budget Management

  • Manage bid strategies and daily/weekly pacing to ensure budget is allocated effectively and aligned to performance targets.

  • Monitor spend, efficiency, and volume trends; propose reallocations or optimization actions based on results.

  • Escalate pacing risks or performance anomalies quickly with recommended actions.

Paid Social Support & Execution

  • Support and/or execute paid social campaigns in partnership with the Paid Marketing Senior Manager and agency.

  • Assist with setup, QA, tracking validation, and performance monitoring; recommend optimizations aligned to goals.

Paid LLM Execution

  • Execute paid LLM placements/initiatives as applicable, following platform direction and measurement standards.

  • Monitor results and share learnings to inform ongoing investment and best practices.

Google Analytics & Testing

  • Monitor performance using Google Analytics and platform reporting; track core KPIs.

  • Support testing execution and document learnings.

  • Validate tracking and tagging and flag measurement gaps for resolution.

Risk & Opportunity Management

  • Flag risks and opportunities quickly (tracking issues, performance dips, policy disapprovals, budget pacing) with proposed actions.

  • Maintain a clear view of blockers, dependencies, and next steps to keep programs moving.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; marketing or business administration preferred

  • 5+ years in digital marketing, ecommerce, analytics, or related roles

  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actions

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to surface insights and recommendations clearly

  • Working knowledge of paid search platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads)

  • Knowledge of paid social execution and cross-channel measurement concepts

  • Comfort working with performance data and KPIs (For example, Google Analytics or similar tools)

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on paid search/SEM experience in Google Ads and other platforms

  • Demonstrated experience managing bids, budgets, and pacing with a performance mindset

  • Experience in Google Ads and other platforms

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and comfort interpreting performance data to drive actions

  • Working knowledge of paid social execution and cross-channel measurement concepts

  • Strong attention to detail with regards to QA rigor
