We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Senior Plant Controller to support the financial management and performance of our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Plant Manager and Finance Manager, the successful candidate will provide financial control to the plant, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong cost control, effective budgeting and forecasting, and strong business partnering with operational leaders.

The Senior Plant Controller will play a key role in driving profitability, improving operational performance, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and accounting standards. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Strong Financial Planning & Analysis (budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis)
  • Expertise in Manufacturing Cost Accounting and product costing
  • Financial Reporting and month-end close management
  • Inventory valuation and working capital management
  • Business partnering with operations and plant leadership
  • Internal controls, compliance, and audit support
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Qualifications & Skills:

Education

  • Finance degree or similar

Experience

  • Proven experience of 5 years as a Financial/Plant Controller or similar position
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with operational and senior management teams

Skills & Competencies

  • Financial Reporting & Month-End close,
  • Advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge (e.g., SAP S4/HANA),
  • Partner with Plant Manager and department heads
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary: 70.000€ - 80.000€ Gross
