Senior Crypto Revenue Accountant
You will support month-end close financial reporting for all crypto-related activity, perform balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis across revenue-related accounts, and validate the completeness and accuracy of large transactional datasets. You will design, document, and implement accounting processes and procedures for new products, lead process improvement and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and control effectiveness, and support internal and external audits and compliance requests.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end close financial reporting for crypto-related activity
- Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis across revenue-related accounts
- Validate the completeness and accuracy of large transactional datasets
- Design, document, and implement accounting processes and procedures for new products
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Support internal and external audits and compliance related financial reporting
Requirements
- 4+ years of accounting experience at a crypto, fintech, banking, or payments company
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments where processes are still being built
- Detail-oriented and curious, comfortable asking hard questions to get to the right answer
- Experience working with large transactional datasets
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across levels
- Experience with SQL or data querying tools such as BigQuery or Looker (nice to have)
- Experience with Sage Intacct and/or Floqast or other larger ERP systems (nice to have)
