Senior Demand Planning Staff Manager
Job Description Summary
The Senior Demand Planning Manager leads a team of individuals that own the development and execution of the demand signal for a BOT segment within the Materials Management Organization ,Managing the flow of information between the regions, finance, product management, fleet management and supply pillars enables this team to own the demand signal from both tactical (part number level planning and forecasting) and strategic (managing business risk into the signal) perspectives.The scope of demand is aggregating multiple business lines including HDNU, Services and Repairs/Refurb into an aggregated demand plan to best meets the business targets
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage creation of demand signal that satisfies customer needs while aligning to safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets of the business.
- Keep ERP systems and tools up to date and accurate to the current demand signal.
- Manage relationships with supply pillars of the organization to proactively identify and resolve issues relating to an effective business planning process.
- Execute and Improve NCP(non capital parts ) DMR Processes and Mega Deal reviews and Advance releases ,coordinating with regional ITRs , supply and purchasing teams
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team; foster a culture of accountability, precision, and proactive problem-solving with Energy of Care and servant leadership
- Own point of contact for segment demand signal questions and escalations supporting efficient decision making in the business planning process
- Develop Consolidated forecasted at part family level at Gas Power level
- Track forecast accuracy and drive process improvement to optimize inventory/fulfilment within the segment.
- Demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals/programs/processes for a demand planning segment. Use experience and expertise to solve problems.
- Manage constraint capacity allocation with OM team , ITRs based on input given by Supply & purchasing pillar
- Lead the PR / PO cancelation reduction and identify initiatives to improve the demand signal
- Work with regions and ITR ops team to develop planning BOM, Standard part list and establish processes for On time Demand Placement / Forecast
- Improve forecast accuracy both at part family level and also at part number level
- Conduct PSR and Execute lean actions to improve forecast accuracy
- Maintain Data solidity across parts health dash board and ensure demand accuracy across TIL and Obsolescence
- Work with COEs for On time demand placement, STD BOM creation, and outage escalation management
- Establish QDIP Daily Management , identify and execute lean actions to improve standard work and KPIs and Line of Balance for critical commodities.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing / supply chain
- 2+ years of experience specifically in material planning / scheduling function

- Demonstrated track record of applying Lean/Kaizen methodologies to improve complex business processes.

- Deep financial & data analysis and financial planning skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong understanding of the Commercial and Supply Chain processes
- Proficiency on Demantra/Nex
- Knowledge of ERP (Oracle/Pmax)
- Process oriented with strong interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities in a cross-functional team environment
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions with incomplete and ambiguous information
- CAP / Process improvement experience
- Strong expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced forecasting/data visualization tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a matrix organization
- Demonstrated success leading and implementing system changes & simplification – Fastworks zealot
- Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $144,000.00 and $240,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
