Senior Designer - Electrical

Minimum 10 years of experience\nin electrical detailed engineering, FEED and proposal/estimation works and\nincluding 5 year in engineering/supervisor works at construction site\npreferably in the field of Oil & Gas and Chemicals<\/span><\/span>

<\/p>

Work\nas part of the Electrical Engineering Team with specific responsibility\nfor: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

1) Overall engineering\nexecution for electrical system<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

2) Preparation of job execution\nplan, and control/manage quality, bill of quantities, engineering schedule and\nwork hours<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

3) Review of input for design<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

4) Coordination work with\ninterface disciplines, such as Civil, Piping, Instrument, Building, HSE,\nPainting, Insulation and others.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

5) Manage engineering\nsub\-contractor (outsource)<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

4) Coordination work with Client,\nVendors, engineering subcontractors and others<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

5) Design, Prepare, review/check\nand approve the following drawings/deliverables:<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Equipment/material\nand design specification, data sheet, calculation<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Layouts\nfor substation, cable way, power/control, lighting, earthing, telecommunication<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Schematic\nwiring and connection diagram<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Detailed\nelectrical installation drawings<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Cable and\nDrum schedule<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>One Line\nDiagram/Protection & Metering Diagram<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>System\nstudy/Protection relay setting list<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Inquiry\npackage, including Requisition for electrical equipment/materials<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Technical\nbid evaluation report<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

6) Prepare technical\ncorrespondence and query to Client<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

7) Preparation of\nEquipment/Material selection and MTO (Material Take\-Off)<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

8) Vendor document review for\nelectrical and other disciplines<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

9) Field Engineering work in\nConstruction site/Module fabrication yard<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

10) Other necessary work requested/instructed by supervisors<\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

• Knowledge of structural engineering\n input and output. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Knowledge of international\n code and standards (such as AISC, ASCE, ACI, PIP, Euro and BS etc...) for\n steel and concrete structural design. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Knowledge of international\n code and standards (such as ASCE, UBC etc...) for wind load and seismic\n load. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Knowledge of transport\n analysis of module structure. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Knowledge of standard\n international styles of business communication and experience in the\n preparation of business and technical documentation.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Knowledge of plant\n facilities (Piping, Electrical, Instrument, Equipment etc.) in oil\n refinery projects, LNG plant projects, and/or gas processing plant\n projects. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Knowledge of design\n information of plant facilities (Piping, Electrical, Instrument, Equipment\n etc.) in oil refinery projects, LNG plant projects, and/or gas processing\n plant projects. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• STAAD PRO operation\n skills. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Calculation knowledge of\n connection capacity. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Navisworks operation\n skills. <\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• MS office operation skills.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Direct\n supervision and checking of the work by junior staff will be required at\n times.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
