Senior DevOps Engineer

You will enable fast, reliable, and secure delivery of services by building and operating scalable, self-service infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will provision and manage blockchain nodes and networks, optimise build and release pipelines, improve system resilience, and provide on-call support to maintain 24/7 availability. You will work closely with engineers and SREs to automate infrastructure as code and improve developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Build fault-tolerant geographically distributed infrastructure with replication sharding auto balancing and failover
• Participate in deployment of services with strict availability requirements at large scale
• Develop and maintain automated infrastructure management code using Ansible and Terraform
• Collaborate with backend engineering to increase resilience through systems and application metrics
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and provide new integration vectors
• Build and maintain infrastructure for a fleet of blockchain nodes and lifecycle management
• Provide on-call support to ensure 24/7 availability of systems

Requirements

• 5+ years experience operating production-grade infrastructure as a DevOps engineer
• Hands-on experience running and maintaining blockchain infrastructure including node deployment syncing upgrades monitoring and troubleshooting
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience with configuration management using Ansible
• Strong experience with containerization and Kubernetes including production operations and cluster management; EKS preferred
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and deployment tools such as ArgoCD
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including VPCs routing load balancing DNS and firewalls
• Experience implementing and operating secure systems including IAM secrets management and vulnerability management
• Proficiency with at least one development language such as bash Python or Go
• Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems and production environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience working within crypto organisations (desirable)
• Experience in Financial Services (desirable)
