We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the LCH Securities Technology team at LSEG. In this role, you will build, and improve the tooling, automation, and infrastructure that support our software development lifecycle. You will partner closely with engineering, testing, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that enable fast and consistent delivery across the organisation.

This is a key opportunity to work on high-impact systems that support capital markets technology, where your work will directly improve developer experience, platform reliability, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and evolve DevOps tooling and SDLC platforms that support engineering and testing teams.

  • Develop integrations and automation that streamline development, quality assurance, and operational workflows.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions that improve deployment speed and consistency.

  • Partner with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and enhance platform capabilities.

  • Strengthen observability through effective monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting.

  • Improve platform reliability by championing automation, consistency, and resilience across systems.

  • Contribute to solution design and delivery from concept through deployment.

  • Explore emerging tools and technologies that can improve developer productivity and operational performance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

  • Proficiency with AWS services and cloud‑native architectures.

  • Expertise in CI/CD systems, automation frameworks, and configuration management.

  • Hands‑on experience building Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions, ideally with Terraform, Ansible like tools.

  • Strong programming and scripting skills, with proficiency in Python.

  • Experience supporting engineering teams and delivering scalable tooling or internal platforms.

  • Knowledge of Java or C++ is an advantage.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.

  • A drive for automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
