Senior DevOps Engineer
Project description
A Senior Engineer who can design, build, and standardize a high-quality DevOps platform, setting the foundation for long-term support and scalability. Own and deliver the end-to-end build-out of the LoanIQ platform on Azure, including infrastructure, environments, and CI/CD pipelines, establishing scalable and secure foundations for the SDLC.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and build of Azure-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy) aligned to SDLC controls
- Establish environment strategy (Dev, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod) and promotion model
- Drive DevOps standards and best practices (automation, security, observability)
- Integrate LoanIQ with enterprise tooling (identity, monitoring, secrets management)
- Work closely with application, DB, and vendor teams to orchestrate initial setup
- Ensure security, auditability, and compliance are embedded in all pipelines
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to POD engineers
SKILLS
Must have
- Technical:
- 8+ years of strong experience with Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, RBAC)
- Deep expertise in IaC tools (Terraform / ARM / Bicep)
- Proven delivery of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD essential; Jenkins/Azure DevOps useful)
- Experience with environment provisioning and configuration management
- Solid understanding of monitoring/logging (e.g., Azure Monitor, Splunk, ELK)
- Familiarity with database and middleware hosting (relevant to LoanIQ stack) DevOps & Delivery:
- Experience building platforms from scratch ("greenfield" setup)
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles
- Experience working in regulated banking environments
- Agile delivery, backlog shaping, and cross-team coordination
