Senior Digital Workplace Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Manage enterprise SaaS and DaaS applications, including configuration, upgrades, integrations and operational support.

  • Administer Windows and macOS endpoints, covering provisioning, patching, OS upgrades, software deployment and testing.

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling to improve endpoint provisioning, software deployment, monitoring and overall operational efficiency.

  • Execute full lifecycle system administration and take ownership of application onboarding, upgrades and system consolidations, ensuring timelines, quality and stakeholder communication.

  • Support platform and application integrations with SSO, SAML, OAuth and directory services, enabling seamless access and interoperability across applications.

  • Maintain accurate process, configuration and operational documentation in compliance with change management procedures.

  • Apply ITIL-aligned operational practices for incident, problem and change management to ensure platform reliability and service continuity.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and escalate issues effectively to the Digital Workplace Manager.

  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing guidance, knowledge sharing and support for technical development.

  • Recommend and implement best practices for platform performance, endpoint management and operational processes to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in IT systems engineering, endpoint administration or enterprise SaaS applications support.

  • Hands-on experience managing enterprise SaaS applications and endpoints in medium to large organizations.

  • Experience with platform integrations and APIs, including SSO, SAML 2.0, OAuth and LDAP.

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python or similar) to improve platform and endpoint operations.

  • Strong experience administering Windows and macOS endpoints including device provisioning, patching, software deployment and system upgrades.

  • Knowledge of systems monitoring, logging and observability practices.

  • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Desire to learn new technologies, support platform modernization initiatives and contribute to team growth and efficiency.
