Team Summary

The Acceptance Specialist Client Success team provides industry-leading operational support to Visa’s clients around the world. With our deep knowledge and expertise, we bring the voice of the customer into the design, development and successful deployment of Visa products and services. We are trusted partners to Visa’s clients, providing expertise to support and successfully grow their business.

The Acceptance Specialist Client Success team is a regional organisation located across key Asia Pacific markets responsible for managing client operational relationships and overseeing the service delivery for merchants, acquirers and resellers across the Acceptance portfolio.

The team oversees the support of our clients, driving adoption and effective use of deployed solutions. They are accountable for delivering client outcomes through optimizing service, performance, reliability and partnership for commercial impact. Through close partnership with Sales, Product, Technology, and Client Services, Acceptance Specialist Client Success ensures clients are operationally ready, supported at scale, and positioned to realise ongoing value from Visa’s acceptance capabilities.

What a Senior Director, Head of Acceptance Specialist Client Success does at Visa:

This role is responsible for defining and executing the service delivery and client success strategy for Acceptance Solutions across APAC, ensuring clients realise measurable value and business outcomes from Visa’s products and services.

This role provides leadership across all clients’ operational activities, including the crossfunctional delivery of systems and services. This leader is responsible for defining and executing client service strategies across Acceptance client segments, with a strong focus on proactive client success planning to ensure client goals, operational delivery and business growth outcomes are successfully met.

The role is accountable for establishing clear success measures and performance standards for their team, ensuring client satisfaction and outcomes are consistently achieved through disciplined use of metrics, feedback mechanisms, and proactive client engagement.

The leader will build and scale a highperforming team with strong accountability and succession depth. They will foster a culture of performance and client-centricity, coaching leader to operate with a strong operational and commercially focused discipline.

The role represents Acceptance Specialist Client Success in leadership forums, leads executivelevel business reviews, and clearly articulates priorities, progress, risks, and decisions required.

In this role, you are expected to:

  • Own the APAC Acceptance Specialist strategy, roadmap, priorities, and performance outcomes, enabling crossfunctional execution to deliver.
  • Ensure client product delivery and adoption, realising measurable client adoption improvements and revenue.
  • Lead and develop a highperforming regional leadership team with clear accountability and succession depth.
  • Establish operating discipline through governance, metrics, and consistent delivery rhythms.
  • Lead senior stakeholder discussions, business reviews, and decision forums.
  • Surface risks, constraints, and dependencies, driving fast resolution.
  • Travel as required to support regional teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

What you will need:

We are looking for an individual who brings breadth of experience, a curiosity about payments, is results-driven and client focused. As a candidate, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of successful experience in senior leadership roles with clientfacing accountability, ideally in payments or related industries.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and hold highperforming teams accountable for results and behaviors.
  • Strong strategic judgment, able to solve complex, crossfunctional problems without precedent.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large, crossfunctional, and professional or technical teams through highimpact change and transformation across geographies.
  • Deep understanding of client operations, payment processing, and acquiring / acceptance business models.
  • Experience managing senior and executive relationships with large, global clients across regions.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and influencing skills; effective with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators where required.
  • Highly disciplined operator, able to execute consistently across immediate priorities and longterm objectives with sound risk judgment.
  • Selfstarter comfortable operating in fastchanging, ambiguous environments with a bias for clarity and action.
