Senior Director - Paid Media

The purpose of this role is to implement and execute Paid Search campaigns, in line with the agreed strategy, to maintain, develop and exceed client performance targets.

Purpose of the Role

The Paid Search Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimising paid search campaigns across various platforms to meet client objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute paid search strategies aligned with client goals and objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of paid search campaigns, including campaign setup, optimisation, monitoring, weekly reports, and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal planning teams and platform reps to drive best in class performance.
  • Attend and represent the team at regular external and internal client meetings.
  • Work closely with the Account Director, and oversee the Account Executive, to deliver strong strategic approaches and adhere to Dentsu’s QA policies and procedures.
  • Actively mentor and empower your team to increase quality and performance on your clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and platform updates related to paid search.

Key Skills

  • Experience managing and planning paid search campaigns, preferably in an agency or client-facing environment.
  • Proficiency in managing and planning campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with experience on Skai and international search engines a bonus.
  • Strong understanding of paid search principles, best practices, and industry trends
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful paid search campaigns and achieving key performance metrics.
