Job Summary:<\/b><\/span><\/span> <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>We are seeking a hands<\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span>on <\/span><\/span><\/span>Senior Embedded Engineer<\/span><\/span> <\/span>with 5\u20138 years of experience <\/span><\/span>to design<\/span> <\/span>and <\/span><\/span>develop<\/span> <\/span>firmware for <\/span><\/span><\/span>ESP32<\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span>based IoT devices<\/span><\/span> <\/span>deployed at petrol pump sites. The role involves building reliable, real<\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span>time firmware capable of communicating with cloud microservices via MQTT and controlling forecourt devices such as fuel dispensers, tank gauges, and sensors. The ideal candidate must be strong in embedded C/C++, networking, MQTT, and field<\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span>level device integration.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>

Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span><\/span> <\/b><\/span>

  • Develop and maintain <\/span>ESP32 firmware <\/span>using C/C++.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Build drivers and interfaces for <\/span>fuel dispensers, tank gauges, sensors, and controllers.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Ensure firmware stability under challenging field conditions (network drops, power issues).<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Implement <\/span>MQTT\-based publish/subscribe communication <\/span>with cloud microservices.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Design efficient <\/span>MQTT topics, payload formats, retry and reconnect logic.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Manage Wi<\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span>Fi/Ethernet connectivity, TLS security, and offline/online states.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Ensure <\/span>real\-time performance, low latency control, and system reliability.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Handle <\/span>concurrency, multi threading, RTOS tasks, watchdog timers, and fault recovery.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in live field devices.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Participate in onsite testing at petrol pump sites.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with System Architects, Cloud/Microservices teams, and QA.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>

    Required Skills and Qualification<\/b><\/span><\/span> <\/b><\/span>

    • 5\u20138 years of experience in <\/span>embedded systems development.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong hands<\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span>on experience with <\/span>ESP32 or similar microcontrollers.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong programming <\/span>expertise <\/span>in <\/span>C/C++.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience with <\/span><\/span>FreeRTOS<\/span> <\/span>or similar real<\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span>time operating systems.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Understanding of<\/span> <\/span>multithreading, memory management, and concurrency.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong knowledge of <\/span>MQTT protocol, TCP/IP networking, and TLS/SSL security.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Hands<\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span>on experience with serial protocols: <\/span>UART, RS232/RS485, GPIO, SPI, I2C.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to <\/span>interface with <\/span>industrial devices and field hardware.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience working on production<\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span>grade embedded devices.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong problem<\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span>solving and debugging abilities.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>
