What’s the role?
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Engineer to support and enhance critical enterprise applications running on IBM z/OS.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop and support mainframe applications.
- Perform impact analysis, coding, testing and implementation.
- Develop and maintain COBOL, CICS, IMS and DB2 applications.
- Support batch processing using JCL and scheduling tools.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents and performance issues.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver enhancements and regulatory changes.
What do I need?
- 8+ years of experience in mainframe development.
- Strong experience in COBOL development within large-scale enterprise or banking environments.
- Hands-on experience with IMS DB and IMS DC, including data access, database structures, and program interfaces.
- Good understanding of z/OS mainframe environments.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including production support..

Experience working with CICS, JCL, and VSAM within mainframe environments.
