Job Description:

The Role:

Entegris is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the KSP, Taiwan location. This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair and service of all plant equipment/facilities for the KSP.

In this role you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and executes Total Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance programs for all equipment;

  • Coordinate and assign maintenance staff and foreman to proper job per abilities and establishes work teams;

  • Coordinate and ensure maintenance is completed for all equipment related to manufacturing;

  • Coordinate and install automation equipment;

  • Ensure repairs for electric, pneumatic and hydraulic circuits are completed as needed and replacement of defective components to restore proper operation of equipment;

  • Oversee repairs for mechanical systems, and schedules modifications to equipment to achieve desired results;

  • Update the maintenance work order system and assigns daily work order updates;

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment;

  • Communicate potential hazards immediately to plant manager and identifies and corrects potential unsafe conditions;

  • Provide recognition to employees, ensure training is provided for effective performance, and addresses issues with employee with supportive documentation;

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and applicable budget requirements;

  • Create employee goals and conducts timely employee performance and goals reviews;

  • Coordinates effective delegation of work assignments and training;

  • Conducts shift/departmental meetings at a minimum of once per month;

  • Oversee, delegates and/or updates and reports out on department metrics and visual plant displays through the use of the Lean Manufacturing tools and processes;

  • Audits oversees and updates 6S activities for department.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • Ability to read and understand maintenance instructions, hydraulic prints, electrical schematics and logic circuits. Ability to possess a working knowledge of standard desktop software applications;

  • English communication ability;

  • Junior college graduate and minimum of a 3 year Technical College degree in equipment maintenance repair, troubleshooting, electronics or related fields preferred;

  • Maintenance experience in a plastic injection-molding lean environment is requested.
