Senior Engineer

  • Plan, organise, and execute assigned engineering works efficiently and effectively, including delivering TGM maintenance at customer premises per contract terms
  • Ensure the smooth operation of gas supply systems and related equipment.
  • Perform system design, project planning, cost estimation, and prepare technical presentations as required.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain accurate technical drawings and related documentation.

  • Compile and submit monthly engineering and maintenance reports in a timely manner.

  • Conduct in-house technical training programmes to enhance staff competency and knowledge.

  • Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure adequate stock levels at all times.

  • Evaluate, source, and liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for project and operational needs.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards.

  • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide technical troubleshooting and support when required.

  • Perform standby duties and provide backup support during off-duty hours, including weekends and public holidays if necessary.

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring adherence to workplace safety policies and practices.

  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Qualification and Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in related field (Chemical Engineering, Safety, Environmental)

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, chemical, gas or similar working environment

  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in gas supply distribution systems would be an added advantage
