Senior Engineer

You will act as a technical subject matter expert for industrial cybersecurity deployments. You will assess, design, implement, and deliver customized integrations and network security controls for ICS environments. You will provide first-line technical support, train and coach customers on solution deployment, and define technical solutions that meet customer use cases. You will identify product gaps and work with product and engineering to deliver improvements, and collaborate with sales to support key accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients, assess implement and deliver customized integrations and workflows based on industry best practices and project requirements
  • Serve as first line of defense for customer support requests and coordinate and prioritize timely resolutions with engineering teams
  • Provide training and coaching to customers on establishing and managing Xage Security deployments
  • Understand customer business challenges and map product features to business benefits
  • Represent the customer internally and influence product roadmap and improvements
  • Define technical solutions for customer use cases using internal and third party software hardware and tools
  • Collaborate with sales to build strong client relationships and support account growth particularly within the federal sector
  • Identify product functionality gaps and work with product management and engineering to address them

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 3+ years developing cybersecurity solutions and services focusing on IAM PAM ICS and network security
  • 3+ years working with Industrial Control Systems such as SCADA DCS RTUs IACS PLCs HMIs Engineering Workstations and Historians
  • 3+ years designing and deploying network security solutions and controls in industrial networks including zoning segmentation and isolation
  • Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience
  • Comfortable with at least one high level programming language
  • Proficient in Shell Bash Python and C++
  • Knowledge of virtual machines network virtualization and containerization technologies including Docker
  • Experience working directly in an industrial environment is a plus
  • Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Strong troubleshooting problem solving customer focus communication and teaching skills
